Murrumba Downs – the first four star GreenStar design rated high school (education V1) in Queensland -  opened its doors in January 2012. The public private partnership delivered by Aspire School Consortium, designed by Pdt Architects and built by Broad Construction, boasts a natural koala habitat and a windmill to aerate dam water.
