Laurence specialises in masterplanning, education and laboratory projects. In education projects, one of Laurence’s key skills lies in his ability to translate lifelong learning educational principles into masterplanning and building design. Fundamental to this is the stakeholder consultation process from which key elements are distilled and translated into the design of the physical environment. Laurence is adept at facilitating stakeholder and user group discussions and presentations for health, education and laboratory projects. The design of laboratory facilities presents many unique challenges which Laurence meets by keeping abreast of standards and regulations. The interpretation of these is a key issue for designing facilities that meet the needs of regulators,clients and users.
