The Wesley Hospital East Wing
Pdt-Sth (pdt’s health division) has been providing health planning services to The Wesley Hospital since 2006, helping to meet the needs of a rapidly growing population.
These projects include the reconstruction of clinical areas and new wards, laboratories, car parks, medical suites and the recent $102 million east wing development. The design of The Wesley east wing as a multipurpose and multifaceted centre, combining immediate care, rehabilitation and outpatient services with research meets the ever evolving complexity of patient care.
The east wing is a nine-storey acute care facility boasting world standard, high-tech facilities including 178 inpatient beds, a fully digitised endoscopy suite, a cardiac unit, a purpose-built rehabilitation centre, an auditorium for clinical education and training and a new research floor for the Wesley Research Institute.
Previous projects we have completed for the Wesley Hospital include: the Wesley Research Institute (WRI) fitout (completed 2007, cost $1million); Ward MB1 conversion and extension (completed 2007, cost $1million); and Carpark Stage 3 (completed 2008, cost $18million). pdt-sth are also currently working on the stage three Masterplan.
