Our newest Senior Associate.

We are delighted to announce the well-deserved promotion of Tim O’Donnell to Senior Associate. Tim joined PDT as a graduate architect in 1992 and did his Heritage of Architecture Course in 1994. He became an Associate at PDT in 2007 and has continued to deliver a diverse cross section of successful projects since.

Those who have worked with PDT have likely either heard of or had the pleasure of working with Tim. He has trained many of our design students and graduates over the years and continues to be an invaluable mentor to all our staff. His sense of adventure, humour, and breadth of knowledge in both construction and random trivia has seen him adored by many present and past staff. Tim’s young at heart nature enables him to appeal across all generations, and it is no doubt a contributing factor to his loyal client base who have continued to work with PDT all these years.

Tim’s true passion is in Heritage Architecture, being our in-house Heritage Architect, he leads our specialised heritage team around the complexities of heritage listed buildings. To no surprise, when asked what his career highlights are at PDT, working on Heritage Buildings come to the forefront. Tim enjoys how these projects can transport you to another time and the rich history you can learn from these buildings. One of his personal favourites is the copper spire and masonry tower restoration project at St Paul’s Church in Spring Hill that has won multiple Heritage Awards. Another reason this project is dear to his heart, it was his wedding venue way back in the last century!

Please join us along with his allegiant fans in congratulating Tim!
