South Pine Sports Completed now complete

PDT architects have been privileged to have designed the new South Pine Sports Complex indoor sports centre. Together with Moreton Bay Regional Council we have worked on this project for over 5 years, taking the project from a concept design master plan to a state of the art five court indoor sports facility.

The three new courts, change facilities and upgraded existing two courts provide a centre that can host regional and state competitions for basketball, netball, volleyball, badminton and futsal.

The new rugby union and touch football clubhouse and change facilities have also been re-built and offer great viewing opportunities across the playing fields.

The indoor centre will provide a lasting legacy for indoor sports in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area and has recently hosted the Queensland state U16’s boys basketball championships to great success.

The centre is one of the first in the region to offer change facilities for wheelchair athletes as well as a fully certified changing place facility, this ensures that indoor sport can be delivered across a range of abilities.
