Lives Lived Well
The Lives Lived Well Service Hub and Rehabilitation Facility in Caboolture was transformed from a backpacker’s hostel into a homely and welcoming sanctuary for recovering patients. The project was delivered on a restrained budget and tight timeframe of eight months from concept design to practical completion.
PDT Architects worked within the existing building, with some major works in order to comply with current Australian codes and standards. In collaboration with the Lives Lived Well marketing department, the Caboolture facility was delivered with an overall look and interior feel keeping to their national brand.
With as much of the existing building fabric retained as possible, the new centre provides necessary private and comfort to patients, taking into considering the wellbeing of both residents, staff and visitors. The centre features communal living and dining areas, alfresco scapes connecting to freshly landscaped gardens, private patient rooms, amenities and separate staff offices and living quarters.
