The Radiation Oncology Mater Centre (ROMC) is an existing building located at the Mater Hospital Campus in South Brisbane. The building itself provides Oncology service to both public and private patients.

PDT Architects were engaged to provide the tired facility with a face lift; moving away from the traditional clinical / sterile hospital design and producing a facility that engaged, soothed and nurtured a more welcoming environment for both patients and visitors.

The end result was a design language and palette that establishes a calming spatial quality with rhythm and richness, one that welcomes, engages and up lifts the existing Radiation Oncology facility.
