North Rockhampton Ambulance Station & District Office Replacement

PDT worked collaboratively with the Queensland Ambulance Service on the new Regional Office and Ambulance Station servicing the area of North Rockhampton. Our involvement as Principal Consultant was from concept, and included schematic, design development phases, continuing through to construction and practical completion.

This project consisted of a mix of operational and administration spaces, responding to these different uses cohesively through planning and site response, including a central courtyard which joins the operational and administrative functions. PDT were also involved in discussions with local first nations stakeholder representatives, through QAS, to assist in final design outcomes.

The Facility incorporates a ten bay Vehicle Plant Room for Class 1 Ambulance Vehicles, Operational Station, Regional Office and Conference Facilities. It has access connections proposed off the currently under construction major infrastructure project, Rockhampton Ring Road which assisted in forming the overall site master planning.
