QAS Ripley was part of a dual Masterplan Study for the future capacities of the Ipswich QAS Facility and the requirements for an additional Station at Ripley on land purchased by the Client.

The project entailed the review of the existing station in Ipswich and possible expansion or re-planning to provide for future capacity. This included the option to relocate part of the administration to the new site.

It was proposed the Ripley greenfield site would include a new QAS Station, Administration and Transport Hub as a staged development for future planned capacities. PDT completed the Master Plan Options for the two sites and developed a Schematic Design of the new station for consideration by QAS.
